BEFORE YOU LEAVE

To help you plan the most relaxing experience possible, here’s some general information that we’ve prepared for you. Each bathing facility will also have its own specific information when you make your booking.

Covid Safe

Follow your local guidelines for recommended practices on contact tracing, social distancing and face masks

Shower Before Bathing

The number one way to ensure a high quality experience for yourself and others is to shower before you enter the waters.

Appropriate Swimwear

Swimsuits are required at all facilities. Please note that mineral-rich water may discolour swimwear. Towels and robes are available for hire at most bathing places.

Footwear Recommendation

To reduce the risk of slips we recommend appropriate footwear around the baths and in wet areas.

Minimise Valuables

Certain facilities have lockers available however we recommend that you minimise the valuables that you bring during your visit.

Accessibility & Health Guidance

Our featured baths have different ways of catering for people with disabilities. They also may have recommendations for pregnant women and people with medical conditions like heart disease.

CONSCIOUS BATHING

Water is a gift that connects us all. We encourage people who visit our baths to be conscious about their experience as well as the experience of other bathers.

Respect Our Waters

Bring awareness of the hot springs, mineral springs and sea ecosystems that you’re connecting with. Shower before bathing, use only as much water as you need and notify staff of any litter.

Respect Country

First Nations Peoples have cared for Australia’s waters for millennia and these traditions carry on through Elders past, present and emerging. We are all contemporary custodians with the power to practice that same care.

Respect Each Other

Healing and relaxation take many forms. Some people seek quiet and tranquillity, others enjoy active experiences and conversation, or even particular cultural practices. Please help us create space of understanding for all of these ways.
